Antara is available with high levels of equipment, including satellite navigation, Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity, electronic climate control, MP3 playback and parking distance sensors.

Boot space stretches from 370 litres with the rear seats up, to a whopping 1420 litres with the back seats folded. The car is pre-fitted with mounting points for Vauxhall's FlexOrganiser, to manage luggage stowage with movable storage nets and pockets.

And coming in the autumn is an innovative option, Vauxhall's integrated rear carrier system, Flex-Fix®, that makes it easy to transport bikes on the back of the car so you don't need a separate tailgate or roof carrier.

Antara arrives in the showrooms in July, with prices starting from £19,850 for an Antara E 2.4i 16v. So we're in for a sizzling summer. Bland is banned. The Antara makes it fashionable to be bold.
