A REAL PREMIUM SERVICE
In an industry-first initiative, Vauxhall is offering New Corsa buyers three years' fully comprehensive insurance for a one-off payment of only £399. It's available to all drivers aged between 21 and 80 on the best selling Club model, or 23 and 80 on the sportier SXi models. For younger drivers especially, it could mean huge savings. Based on quotes from a leading insurer, a 21-year-old male driver of a Corsa 1.2 Club living in central Luton, with no no-claims bonus, no garage parking, three years driving experience and three penalty points, driving 10,000 miles a year, could save an amazing £2800 over the three-year period. Older drivers with flawless records could also make substantial savings too.
WHEN THE FLAG DROPS
VXRacing's all-out attack on the 2007 British Touring Car Championship will be with Vectra race cars. Two familiar drivers in Tom Chilton and Fabrizio Giovanardi will spearhead the 30-race campaign, and you can find out more here. Fabrizio brings experience of Super2000 from his days in the World Touring Car Championship; Tom is already the BTCC's youngest ever race winner, and determined to add his first victory as a Vauxhall driver.
IN THE VAN
It isn't only Vauxhall's stylish and sporty cars that have been picking up awards. According to the leading magazine What Van?, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles are also officially the Best of British. The Luton built New Vivaro and Ellesmere Port built New Astravan were both honoured in the magazine's annual Van of the Year awards. And for its car-like road manners, comfort and flexible engine range, New Astravan was named Editor's Choice, and New Vivaro extended its already impressive haul of trophies with the Best Small Panel Van award.
