ANOTHER CHAMPAGNE MOMENT WITH VXR

Having watched the BTCC for a while but never having been to a race, I was pleased to hear of the BTCC event on Newcastle's quayside, and the whole family went along and enjoyed it. Before it began, Yvan Muller was standing by while the team readied his car, and he duly crouched down to let me take a photograph of him with my young son and daughter before signing autographs. That made up my mind to visit Croft, and three days later we saw both 1-2 results and got sprayed by the victory champagne as we stood in front of the podium. My daughter collected numerous driver autographs during the pit-lane signing session (including Gavin's and Colin's to complete the VXR set!) and we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.
